The technique can be elevated into a ritual using incantations, hand signs, dance, and music. By including all of these steps, the technique's effectiveness can be raised to 120 percent.

✦   :   AGE 15.       yoshinobu gakuganji hears word of iori possessing the power to amplify others and seeks out to enroll her to further train and develop her abilities. despite protests from her clan, utahime, eager to attend schooling and be trained as a jujutsu sorcerer, convinces her parents to approve.✦   :   ages 16-18.       training under mei-mei, utahime thrives in the new environment. she becomes proficient in combat, familiar with jujutsu society history, and its value system. she graduates with high scores and the rank of a grade two sorcerer.✦   :   AGES 19-21.       when mei-mei resigns from jujutsu society, utahime seeks to overcompensate and fill the absence. she begins training vigorously and volunteering to assist on more missions. eventually insisting on a solo mission. when the mission goes awry, she is nearly killed and is given the Semi-grade one status as a result.✦   :   age 31+       in the aftermath of the battle against sukuna, gakuganji retires and passes on the mantle of principal to utahime.

arc 001   :   PRIMARY.       follows the canon timeline of the animanga. utahime is a semi-grade 1 sorcerer and instructor at the kyoto campus. after the events of the manga, iori is promoted to PRINCIPAL of the campus, taking the position after yoshinobu gakuganji steps down to retire. due to the lack of teachers and students in both campuses, utahime spends time recruiting and training new enrollees.arc 002   :   SECONDARY.       takes place before the main verse. utahime is a first time instructor at Kyoto Metropolitan Curse Technical College. naturally competitive and eager to prove herself, she takes extra care in training, educating and encouraging the newly enrolled.arc 003   :   ALTERNATE.       set after hidden inventory, with the loss of other young sorcerers, the departure of nanami and geto, as well as her overall disillusionment with jujutsu society, as a woman trying to climb the ranks, utahime makes the decision to abandon her values and loyalty to the cause. she works as a freelance sorceress for good or bad.arc 004   :   SLICE OF LIFE.       coming from a traditional household, utahime forgoes her dreams of pursuing a career in music, to appease her family’s preference of a practical job. she becomes a professor of music theory for a local college and/or and elementary school choir teacher.
